This app has too many issues on iOS. It is slow to connect and loses the VPN profile at times. Terrible app.

Concur with the complaints of rapid battery discharge after installing OS 9.3. Prior to the new OS i could leave Express VPN connected all day with only a few percent battery drain. Now, it discharges at the rate of 1+% per minute and the battery becomes very warm to the touch. Obviously, the app is causing the overwhelming the processor . If the problem isnt fixed it will become a useless app.

WARNING: Dont download this app.. Using this is like giving them a permission to hack into your device.. They could see your information.

Works most of the time

Abysmal performance in China, consistently less than 0.18 megabits p/s which is no better than other free VPN apps out there. I have pretty much given up using it for anything but the most mission critical tasks, ones I have no option but to wait for or try over and over again.

The VPN doesnt connect most of the time (maybe 25%). When it does connect the connection slows way down and I get dropped constantly.

This is a horrible VPN solution. I use it in China. On daily basis, I need to try more than 20 servers to set up a connection. What makes the matter worse, the difficultly-set connection is very easy to lost, and sometimes I cannot connect back, which means I need to drachmas for a usable remote server all over again! Even if connected, I am very disappointed at the speed. Tens of kb/s in speed means I have to wait for gmail to spin forever. Overall, THIS IS A HORRIBLE VPN SOLUTION.

Have used many VPNs. This one is the BEST. May cost a little more, but it is worth it. Never fails like others.

I bought this a week in advance before heading to China. I played around with it home and it looked great. Reviews I read say it works well but for me I could never get it to connect. I maybe had it connect a few times and it was only got 5 mins then again nothing connected. Wasted 20$ on useless app that didnt work

Have spent a lot of time trying out and testing vpns for my iPhones and iPad pros. So far this is the only vpn that allows connections to and use of Netflix and Hulu. I cannot speak for its use with travel outside the US as that isnt something I do a lot of anymore, but stateside the connection is always on very fast and stable. Pros: effective, fast and delivers as promised. Cons: a bit pricier than most, but I dont mind paying more for a great platform, but would like too see lower monthly cost. If devs read this. Would love to see the iOS app reporting stats like data usage (unlimited data here but would like to see what passes through your way.). Also if tracking is blocked, would love to see a counter for that number as well. Definitely recommend the app, but also advise all to take advantage of the free trial to see if it fits your needs

Normally would give this a 5 star but for this version only 1. As the review about it dropping after 5 min thats all my phone does now. I have to set it to airplane mode and then back only for it to work for another 5 min. Please fix!!!

I recently purchase app and it is doing great, currently outside the US, and Im able to watch Hulu and Netflix

Contrary to some on-line reviews it does have an auto-disconnect to protect against dns leaks. Its also configured to block the use of ivp6 and webrtc. Speed is still very acceptable also. It works equally well on all my devices. A good step towards greater security.

Simple to use. Very effective. Only request is to accommodate households with many set top boxes to allow simultaneous streaming.

The desktop version works okay but the mobile apps drop connections. Also, tends to remember the last location and wont update when you travel. Insisted I was in China when I got back to NYC. If the iOS versions worked as well as the desktop it would be a five star. Kind of uncomfortable checking sensitive info and seeing the VPN indicator drop off and on
