ExpressVPN - VPN Fast & Secure App Reviews

This product is simple to install, simple to use and yes, the support is as good as advertised. If youre looking close at a VPN, its very true that with ExpressVPN , you get what you pay for.

UPDATE: Just returned from two months in overseas, using this continuously. I had a few wifi issues, but absolutely no issues with the VPN. It worked well and as advertised. Would subscribe again in a heartbeat. I have been using this for only a couple weeks. First, the free trial (which starts when you download the app). From there I purchased six months. I had many questions at first and the developer responded quickly and with good, helpful information. That is the main reason I am comfortable giving a really thumbs up review at this time. I will be travelling overseas and will review again once I can evaluate how this works in a number of other countries. For now, it works seamlessly and efficiently, just as advertised.

Unlike many other VPNs this one has great speed so videos or what not work great. Some stability issues here and there but overall a good app

Slow connection Drops frequently Server responds only 1/10 time

This is the first Vpn app Ive used so I have no reference to compare it to but it is terrible. Never wants to connect to the server and the odd time it does it drops with in minutes. I spend more time trying to connect to this damn thing then anything else I do on my iPad. FIX THIS.

The app and Windows version works great. Very reliable. Had some trouble installing on my router but the chat support was quick and efficient. Best VPN out there

I have been using this service for only a short time but I am thrilled so far. I have used other Vpn providers and this is the one I would recommend to friends. I am able to connect with sites from all over the world in seconds. The service so far, has been wonderful. The only thing that would make it amazing is if I could connect my Roku the same way I connect my Apple TV, computer, and iPad.

Classic example just now: "Cannot connect to iTunes." You must disconnect ExpressVPN to use the email program on your iPhone or iPad, then reconnect to surf Google or FB. If the wifi signal is a little weak, it might take ten attempts to get this VPN to connect - if at all! Im here on major meetings and have no time to install another VPN. Meanwhile, this one is driving me crazy! :( * Update 27 Feb 2016. I have now used the paid ExpressVPN and free Betternet in China for one month on two iPhones, two iPads, one new laptop PC and one new tablet PC. Here is my report: 1. Both took forever on PCs, which may be Chinas biggest push to block right now. 2. ExpressVPN took longer to load on all devices, but if the signal was weak would eventually connect when Betternet would not. 3. On iPhones using data Betternet never failed me, and hooked up very quickly. ExpressVPN either failed me or took many more attempts to lock in. 4. Yes, they both annoy you with the On for browser, Off for email, etc. However, if I forgot to turn off my Betternet my email would still connect and download slower - where ExpressVPN blocked it completely. Good to note: I use three IMAP emails constantly, with around 10,000 emails on the biggest one. A good testing platform! Bottom line - find two free VPN apps/programs (unless you are dealing with sensitive information, of course), and use the one that works best at the moment for that device. Its the least of the hell you will endure in Mainland China! I did try TunnelBear the first few days in China and it was a dead zero for me!

Too bad the programmers at ExpressVPN get to sit at their desks and churn out code that doesnt receive proper testing. Best VPN in China?? Lol, not on iPhone. Who else is suffering with this app? Go to Settings then Cellular and disable ExpressVPN then turn Airplane Mode on and off; re-enable ExpressVPN then enjoy a few minutes of use before it drops out and you have to do it all again.

Its great but 1/3 times its takes so much time to connect

It is fine when youre connected but thats consider you are lucky enough to get a connection to a server. Took me numerous of try to connect to a server. Told it is the best vpn in China. 2/5 thats what they deserve if they want people to pay for this expensive service.

As good as the computer version, sign in and watch the magic happen!

The new update has cause my phone battery to deplete within 4-5 hours (I have a brand new iPhone 6). I had no issues with battery life prior to the update, and when I check my battery usage, Express VPN is consuming 85% of my battery now!

Generally poor service. Slow, breaks the connection frequently causing you to hunt through servers until you find one that works. Tries to make up for its inadequacy with a nice interface, only they forgot to build a reliable platform beneath the fancy face.

It rarely connects; and when it does it is horribly slow! The customer service is awful, so there is no help to fix the service. I could not ever access Netflix or PBS or BBC, and often had trouble loading any page at all!

This guy marked more than 200Mbps on 1Gb optical line in Tokyo. Its almost five times better than other service.

It doesnt work on ios8. Waste of time...
